    Unblock a File in Windows - Did the behavior change recently?


    In the past, if I have downloaded a zip file from a site not in my Trusted Sites, I would get the below and when extracted the contents will have the date modified set to whenever you downloaded the zip file if you don't set "Unblock". Currently, I'm on Windows 10 21H2 19044.1741, and I now observe that the dates reflect the true modified date and I don't even have to set the "Unblock" checkbox anymore.However, when testing on a Windows Server 2016 server, the former result is what I'm getting and not what I'm experiencing with Windows 10 build that I have.I assume I still want to uncheck th

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
