    Uncertain about downloading a new driver


    Ok, so I manually downloaded a newer driver directly from the HP website for my computer but I am confused on what to do after downloading it onto my computer. The SW file appears as "sp100872". Is it supposed to download and change to the driver once its been installed, or do I need to browse through my files through device manager and switch to it manually?If its supposed to install and change automatically it didn't, but if I do need to go through the device manager and update it manually, could someone please tell me how so I am able to do so? Please and thank you.

    Thanks very much lilhasselhoffer. I'll start doing what you suggested step by step.

    One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

    Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

    BSOD at least twice a month - uncertain cause

    I have run driver verifier with the below settings for >48 hours. There have been no BSOD. Please advise on next steps

    Uncertain about downloading a new driver

    Downloading photos in Windows 10

    Downloading from Panasonic digital camera.

    I have followed the steps but "Import/Export photos doesn't appear in the dropdown list. Since this is the first time I am downloading into this computer with Windows 10 it was suggested that I need to load new drivers but I can't seem to find them.
