    Under taskmanager I have 2 TaskHostw.exe’s running. Is that normal?


    Straight to the point, I have 2 taskhost.exe files running, there command lines are: taskhostw.exe{a ton of numbers and letters} taskhostw.exe $Arg0On start I also have taskhostw.exe sync cloud or something similar. And occasionally just taskhostw.exe the command line is the same. The TaskHostw$Arg0 seems to go away after a little while but it’s not there on start up it’s a minute or so after startup I have followed the file path and they both lead toUser/Windows/System32I have done a full system scan and nothing has been picked up, I also did a specific scan of that .exe in

    • What is the error message when running MS Store and Taskmanager?
    • Were there any changes made before this issue came up?
    • What is the build and version of your Windows 10? To find out which version of Windows your PC is running, press Windows logo key + R, type
      winver, then select OK.
    • What are the troubleshooting steps you have done so far?

    taskhostw tying to access your WebCam?!

    I did a search for taskhostw exe and found the following:
