Windows 10: Underscore problem and not working

Hi everyone, I was using Compaq presario v3000 and i installed windows 10 in that PC after installing the PC is not working properly and now it not opening it shows only underscore on top left on my PC I even tried to change the boot order but it not any changes it still showing underscore.please help me to fix this because in this PC I have important folders and my photos Thank you.

OK. It seems like I need to do a step by step:



Menu > Installations > Messenger > Open Messenger try to type in my domain name which includes an underscore that I am unable to type. I've tried pressing the Ctrl, Chr, button with the grey and white triangle, with the 'K' which has a dash, and by pressing
them on there own. Nothing.

 

Underscore not showing in file names

If I use an underscore in a file name (File_Name) it does not show (File Name) unless renaming the file. Current OS is 21H1 version 1165.


Just found out that this the underscore does show when viewing "Details" but not "List".

Gave up and did a reinstall of Windows and it is working now.

After much searching, it was the size of "IconFont"; changed it from "EE" to "EF" and all is well - really strange.

 

Underscore problems on the E63

I had the same problem last week, i also thought that how can a company like Nokia left that out, it can't be. Everytime i'm using wifi and tried to log in to my e-mail which happen required underscore sign on the username...i can't type it. Been search
for some info on the net but none until i decided to install a new browser to replace my old browser and it worked. try to install skyfire mobile browser...it solve my problem, hope it works for yours too. Before i can't type underscore to fill up my e-mail
user id, even after i pressed CHR button...nothing appear on the screen. After using skyfire..it work just fine...must be the browser incompatibility then. good luck.
