Windows 10: Undetectable Virus

    Undetectable Virus


    I am very sure I have a virus as my pc is pretty powerful and things aren't loading as fast as they should be recently, it started with my browser being slower than normal, then lag on games that I don't normally get, then it moved to my task bar taking around 1.5 mins to load after logging in which is very out of the ordinary and now its moved to taking around 30 secs longer than normal to log in. I have belief that it may be a stealth virus as I have run a full scan twice on my pc using Microsoft antivirus and it has said that there was nothing detected. My system is Windows 10.

    It really sounds like a virus running hidden in the background!
    Though you've scanned the pc for viruses it's difficult that the antivirus installed finds anything...as the virus has already passed unobserved by the antivirus app.

    My suggestion is to put some executable antivirus and antispyware appz. in your flash disk and scan the pc from that.
    Use different ones, portable antiviruses etc....here are some suggestions:

    PrevX CSI : http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp
    Spyware doctor..etc.

    Virus infection usually happens on a computer when it is exposed to an infected website or removable devices. For us to help you clean the malware on your device, we would need you to answer the following questions:

    • Which build and version of Windows are you using?
    • Did you encounter any error messages related to having a virus infection on your device?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    In the meantime, we suggest running any available antivirus software on your PC. It would be very helpful to us if you could also provide the result of the antivirus scan process.
