  1. Undo is not undoing in the correct order with digital inking.

I'm experiencing issues with the Undo command while using my Wacom tablet and stylus in Microsoft Word. For example, if I draw the letters M I C R O S O F T and then press undo or ctrl+z Word will erase ink on random letters or letter strokes, for example, the C or S will be deleted, then half of the M, leaving me with random letters. Similarly, if I draw a square with four separate lines, it will often undo not the 4th line I drew, but maybe the 1st or 2nd one. This happens in other MS family apps like Excel, but it doesn't happen in OneNote or non-Microsoft products like Adobe Photoshop or AutoDesk Sketchbook.

    Any ideas?!

    Thanks.
    Jay.

  2. Context-sensitive undo?

I'm using Office 2016, Windows 10, and I was making some edits in Excel (although this could apply to any MS Office scenario, I think), but I wanted to undo formatting in the cell I was on, but that change was applied a few steps ago.

I could hit Undo several times, but that would of course undo everything else that I've done. I would love if I could, just like there's "Paste Special" have an "Undo Special" and only undo changes to this cell.

Does such a thing exist? If not, is it possible to fake it somehow?

(This spreadsheet is a list about access -- I had just highlighted a cell yellow to indicate "awaiting info", typed things in a few more cells when I had that data, and then realized I had the info, so I just wanted to unhighlight that cell, since I did not need to draw attention to it. So it's not about calculations or conditional formatting)

    undo system restore

Yes in the system restore options there will be an Undo button to go back.

    1. If you boot to advanced startup options from within Windows 10, you must be signed in as an administrator to undo a system restore.

    2. Click/tap on Troubleshoot.

    3. Click/tap on Advanced options.

    4. Click/tap on System Restore.

    5. If you booted to advanced startup options from your Windows 10 installation media, click/tap on your listed Windows 10 OS, and go to step 7 below.

    6. If you booted to advanced startup options from within Windows 10, click/tap on an administrator account you want to provide credentials for.

    A) Enter the password for this administrator account, and click/tap on Continue.

    7. Click/tap on Next.

    8. Select the restore point that has Undo for its "Type", and click/tap on Next.

    See if that helps.
