Windows 10: "Undo" option pops up whenever using Windows 10 search bar

When I click on the windows 10 search bar and try to type the paste and undo button keeps flicking. This makes it impossible to type. I have tried unplugging my keyboard and mouse but nothing has worked.

From the description, I understand that you are still receiving the pop up notifications, despite having disabled the search functionality in windows 10.

Steps to disable the Search Bar

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• Select "Disable."

However, if the above steps don't work out, perform the below suggested steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Open a CMD window started as Administrator.

Repair corruption: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.

Run this command next: Sfc /scannow

Now run these two commands:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

"Undo" option pops up whenever using Windows 10 search bar

Everytime I try to use the windows search bar, I cannot type, and the option to undo pops up.

I have reinstalled my drivers for my mouse and keyboard and even tried new equipment. I reinstalled my display adapters and restarted multiple times and have tried on different days. Nothing seems to fix this issue.

I can't even take a screen shot because whenever the windows search tab is open, snipping tool and Win + Shift + S functions do not work

Update: Screen shot works if I hold alt and wait for the crosshairs to show up.

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.
