Windows 10: unhidden folders

I have a problem with my unhidden folders when i try to unhide the folders that were hidden i dont see all the unhide folders they just have been lost or i dont know where they go it just write for me desktop and all of the folders that i hide has been lost or i dont know what happen to them sooooooo plzzzzzzzzzzzz help me to find my unhide folder it is sooooo important to mee plzzz help GOODLUCK TO WHO WILL HELP ME

Thank you kindly Loraine. Would performing a system restore definitely reset the hidden / unhidden attributes of the various files under my User identity?

Hi Richard. Thanks for your comments. Before I try this out - would performing a system restore actually rest the hidden/unhidden attributes on the many files listed under my User identity?

Thanks for your helpful advice. I have tried your second suggestion (i.e. Restoring defaults on the "Show Hidden Files and Folders Control Panel")- the system didn't react much, but maybe there was little to do.

In any event, do you think this is enough to reset all files which I caused to be unhidden via (a change of attributes) to hidden status? If yes, then I suppose you have found my answer!
