    Unhiding notification area icons taskbar/systray no longer working after latest windows 10...


    Very recently Feb, 2022, Microsoft started hiding systray icons again as they do in Windows 11, but now Windows 10 too. In my opinion, this raises major concerns for some businesses. Previously, I was able to use manual configuration, registry changes, or GPO/GPP to force all notification area/taskbar/systray icons to always show on the taskbar by the time. Now however, ALL of these are reverted after a reboot so that all systray icons are no longer shown. As this is a new issue with Windows 10, has anyone else found a good, permanent way to fix this in a domain environment? Ages ago, I st

    Taskbar, Start Menu, Systray and Notification Area are not working. Looks frozen.

    After updating 2017-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4016871), my system's Taskbar, Start Menu, Systray and Notification Area are not working. These features looks frozen. But Cortana search bar is working. Notifications
    count are displayed and notification area is not showing on click the icon.

    What could be the issue? I googled but couldn't find the solution.
