Thanks very much for getting back Gerry, it is certainly vexing me greatly!

This is not a branded PC but the motherboard is an MSi Z97PC Mate with Realtek on-board sound system (disabled). BIOS is v.4.7 if that's needed.

I tried the Driver View download and guess what!

I already have The UNIBLUE Powersuite in my system which somehow swallowed Driver View and even with Powersuite uninstalled I still can't get Driver View to produce any sort of list. I hope the UNIBLUE tech desk might get back to me tomorrow if it's vital.

uniblue's powersuite costs £40, why would you buy software when the internet is crawling with freeware?

uniblue's powersuite's website charges in British Pounds, so I'm guessing you are from the UK. Did you buy this video card from PCWorld? Usually stores only offer refunds within 14 days or 30 days but they'll be happy to replace it with the same card or a card of the same value.

Word of warning for next time, do not buy components in store unless you are prepared to pay almost twice as much.
