Windows 10: Unidentified volumes

I have a hard drive with two volumes that are showing as empty and they are not Unallocated
the volumes show, in order, as follows:
800 MB empty partition, 260 MB Healthy EFI partition, C: drive with Win 10, 486 MB Healthy Recovery partition, D: drive with data and a 17.35 GB empty partition.
The only option shown for the empty partitions is Delete Volume. Are these partitions there for a reason or can I delete the last one with Deleting Volume, which I assume will make it unallocated, and then extend the D: drive partition to use up the 17.35 GB

Hi, Badrobot and thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately the issue is still not resolved. The connection still shows as Unidentified and it disconnects frequently.

type in list volume..... your array volume should come up.... if so

type in Select volume 7
assign

1. After opening the game, right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "open volume mixer".

2. If the particular game is listed, turn down the volume and check the result.
