  1. Uninstall and reinstall OneDrive on 2 devices

I have a desktop running Windows 10 Pro. I also have a Laptop running the same.Long story short: We had the 2 computers using the same onedrive account without issue for about a year. The desktop is the main computer. Suddenly, One Drive decided to put thousands of files on the computer into the OneDrive recycle bin and remove them from the desktop so they weren't accessible. I weas able to find them in the OD Recycle Bin and put them back onto the desktop. I disabled OneDrive until I could find out what was happening. I reenabled OD and it immediately started dumping files into the OD RB agai

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

  3. REINSTALL ONEDRIVE

Try these steps out and let me know how it goes:

    • Right-click Start button, choose Run
    • Type appwiz.cpl and click OK
    • Find "Microsoft OneDrive" in the list and uninstall it
    • Restart your computer
    • Go to the
      OneDrive Download Page here
and click the "need to reinstall?" link on the page to get the new installer
    • Let me know if the installer has any trouble this time

I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

    1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
    2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
    3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
    4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
    5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
