    Uninstall MALWAREBYTES... does it unquarantine malware?


    Greetings,

    I was helping a friend who got in a situation. So I installed MALWAREBYTES and found a ton of stuff. I quarantined. But then it sort of took over Windows Defender in an undesired way so I uninstalled it. An hour later I wondered --

    -- if the malware it found is now... urm... free again?

    Windows defender does not allow for me to unquarantine items

    Interestingly enough, even with real time protection off, attempting to unquarantine the program still does literally nothing

    Malwarebytes and Windows 10

    Then I'll suggest you follow these steps:

    1. Press Windows Key + R to open the run dialog

    2. In the box that comes up, type services.msc and click OK

    3. In the list, find Windows Management Instrumentation, and double click it

    4. Change startup type to Automatic

    5. See if you can open Malwarebytes, if not, do a reboot.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused Uninstall MALWAREBYTES... does it unquarantine malware? :confused:
