Windows 10: Uninstall.net framework old versions

Discus and support Uninstall.net framework old versions in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; In my organisation the devices have 3 versions of .net framework like version 2.0.0, 3.0.0 ,4.8.0, 4.8.1..defender showing these devices as...     Uninstall.net framework old versions


    In my organisation the devices have 3 versions of .net framework like version 2.0.0, 3.0.0 ,4.8.0, 4.8.1..defender showing these devices as vulnerability assets so I decided to delete the old versions, how can I do that or is there any other way to do that devices bring up as non vulnerability assets

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

    Try the following steps:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    • Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
    • Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer
    • Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer.

    .net FRAMEWORK version 2.0

    No it didn't help. When I opened the dialog box that you are referring to, the "(NET Framework 3.5(includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)" box was already ticked/darkened. I went ahead and restarted my computer again just in case. When my computer restarted, I got
    the small pop up box that said that the "net Framework version 2.0" had not been installed. Any other ideas?

    I remember a long time ago, I was either installing/uninstalling something and there was .net framework involved but I cannot remember which. I tried to reinstall .net framework and uninstall all the .net studio stuff as well.
