Windows 10: Uninstall Realtek Audio and use Microsoft High Definition Audio

I recently updated my motherboard drivers and one of them was a realtek audio driver. After using this driver, it does not work the way I want my audio to work and I HEAVILY prefer the Microsoft High Definition Audio driverI tried following the steps in this post, https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/completely-unimstalling-realtek-and-installing/17ee39f6-6f70-42e8-8a2e-dc93ea91b254but when I restart my PC, I get the driver I want listed under my Speaker Device for a few minutes and then Windows automatically reinstalls the entirety of Realtek no matter what.Please help me I a

uninstalled realtek high definition audio

So I was uninstalling programs to make space on my computer and I mistakenly uninstalled realtek high definition audio and now there is no sound on my computer, and i was wondering how to fix it. I don't know which program i uninstalled but maybe you could
tell me what one and how to fix it.

The programs I do have are; Realtek card reader, Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver, and Realtek high definition audio driver

 

Realtek High Definition Audio not working

First of all, the Realtek High Definition Audio Device did not automatically reinstall after uninstalling and rebooting. I had to go into Add Legacy Software and select it to install. The Device Manager crashed while installing it, which it always does.
Upon starting it up again, the Device is there, but with a warning sign next to it indicating it is not functional.

Second of all, when I did the rest of the steps, the Driver Manager told me specifically that the drivers for Realtek High Definition Audio Device are up to date.

Realtek High Definition Audio

Download a newer version of the driver from the realtek website, install it and check if the sound comes back.

If not, uninstall the realtek Driver by:

• Open device manager
• Sound Video and Game controllers
• Right click realtek high definition audio device and select uninstall driver software
• Make sure the checkbox "Delete the device software for this device is checked"
