  1. Uninstall Sword Coast Legends from Steam/Windows 10

    Hi there,

I have a game purchased through Steam called Sword Coast Legends, which I played a long time ago, that I am attempting to uninstall. Typically, the game would use Steam to complete the installation process. I am trying to uninstall the Sword Coast Legends game using the Steam application.

I currently have an SSD assigned as my boot drive and a standard HD as a storage location for games.

The C drive is my SSD and the G drive is my HD.

The problem is trying to remove the application from my storage and from the Windows application list. I have attempted to uninstall the application following the procedures outlined from Steam.

The included screen captures show what I am seeing within Windows 10 and Steam.

How can I properly remove this application if Steam will not recognize the application?

How can I properly remove this application if Windows 10 will not allow me to uninstall it?

Are the statistics being shown in Windows 10 accurate? note: the app is taking up 11.7 Gigs of space yet it shows the application removed in Steam from my machine

    :)

    OFFICIAL   Sword Coast Legends (Announcement)

Uninstall Sword Coast Legends from Steam/Windows 10 [IMG]

Sword Coast Legends [Official Site] is a D&D RPG being created by nSpace, in collaboration with Digital Extremes (fellas who made Warframe). It’s set in the most popular part of the Baldur’s Gate lore, The Sword Coast, and will support co-op play for up to four players. In addition to that multiplayer gameplay, there’s also going to be a spot for a dungeon master, and it’s going to follow the 5th Edition D&D rule set.

It’s going to have pausable combat, multiple races and all that good old fashioned RPG stuff bundled in. The Dungeon Master can both create dungeons in a level editor, as well as poke and prod while the dungeoneers are in the middle of gameplay, like the sod the DM always is. I’m hoping it’s not going to be another example of sodomised IP, but Digital Extremes are some damn fine developers in terms of future patching, so we can be sure it will be supported for a long time post-release.

The trailer certainly talks the talk, see below:

Why do I need to uninstall Steam to upgrade to Windows 10 Creator's Update?

This is not the answer, as it still gives me an error. And we shouldn't have to go through this every time Microsoft says so.

Yes, my system was otherwise updated, Steam as well, and Steam is not running. Even after restart (and built-in to the app refresh) its still asking me to uninstall it, and it is telling me I have to uninstall other applications such a Glyph. But Glyph is
not listed in the uninstaller or under C:\Program Files (x86). This installation of Windows 10 was not an update to an older OS, it was a clean install of Anniversary.

    EDIT: Also tried the following.

The same error remains after removal of the Glyph Client and a game called Trove. Its obviously something in the registry Windows is having a problem with and Microsoft is giving some real half-baked solutions to address this.
