    Uninstall Win10 updates

My PC (WIn10) was bombarded with new updates. After install, all my Win10 settings, desk top, start screen, games folder were gone and my PC was back to the ugly Win10 screen. The last updates I received(4-23-17) was KB4013418 & KB4015217 which I believe caused my problem. I tried to uninstall the updates but was told it would not uninstall as it was needed by the program.
    Any solution to this?

    :)

  2. Error codes during Win10 install

    Tried three more times:

    1. updated BIOS

    2. updated BIOS and uninstalled nVidia 353.62 (353.30 is what Win10 needs)

    3. updated BIOS, uninstalled nVidia 353.62 and unplugged all SSD other than C:

    Third time was a success.

Windows 10 is running now. Thanks for the quick help!

I updated nVidia graphics to the latest Win7 WHQL before I installed Win10. After Win10 was installed I found the correct nVidia WHQL.

  3. Windows 10 update (KB3176937/KB3176935/KB3189866) lost my personalized settings

Updates are not "secretly" installed in Win10 (Home), they're automatically
    installed.

Win10 Anniversary Update (Win10 1607) is a Feature update, not a normal Windows update. KB3193494 is a normal update which can be uninstalled. KB3176936 is a Servicing Stack update for Win10 1607 - it
    cannot be uninstalled.

You would go back to your previous version of Win10 via Settings |
    Update & security | Recovery.

If your PC is running Win10 1607, you can go back to Win10 1511 (or Win10 RTW) within ten (10) days of upgrading.

    Uninstall Win10 updates

Hi, Ugly Win 10 screen? I'm just wondering if you might be seeing the start menu full screen, or are in tablet mode.

Can you post a screenshot? (Icon to left of the video icon above your post). Thanks.

Do you have two monitors? Try disconnecting the second.

Otherwise: do you have any system restore points or disk images (which we strongly and repeatedly recommend) which you can use?

Otherwise the only way I can think of for you to go backwards in build would be to do an in-place upgrade repair install (takes you back to your current base build).

I have both updates, and more, no problems.
    KB4015217 can be uninstalled.
