    Hi folks

    a load of apps (not all but a lot) can be uninstalled even when the standard uninstall option (right mouse click on tile) doesn't exist. I kept getting irritated by notifications about account errors on the Mail app -- don't need or want it but couldn't un-install normally. I'm happy with Outlook 2016 and thunderbird -- don't need the live tile app.

    follow this link to uninstall a lot of stuff you might not want (I believe if you need to re-install them again can be done via the store).

    Uninstall Built-In Apps

    I bought a second computer with a very little memory; I did this intentionally because I just need it to be a work computer, I store all of my files in dropbox, I don’t need it to run a lot of programs and it’s a lot cheaper than spending a ton of money.

    However, the Microsoft built-in apps are a HUGE problem for me—they don’t take up a lot of space, but on a computer like mine they take up a lot of space, and I dont need them! I dont like microsoft edge, I dont have any use for xbox or groove music, and
    yet I can’t get rid of them! I have almost nothing installed, yet every time I need an update I don’t have enough space to update; I’m wiping and resetting my computer right now and I have to find six gigs to delete before it will even let me wipe my computer.
    This is ridiculous! I just want these programs off my system!
