  1. Uninstalled Device from Device manager not reappearing after Scan for hardware changes.

Hi, recently I encountered a problem with my Wifi connections, I looked into device manager to see that my “IntelR Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHz” was not connected Code 45 , so I tried uninstalling it then Scan for hardware changes, but the uninstalled device never reappeared. After that I also tried downloading the driver from the manufacture but nothing happened. Please help me install it back and also fix the wifi connection problem.Thank you!

    :)

Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes?

    Hello Paul, *Smile

"Scan for hardware changes" in Device Manager is basically just an option to refresh Device Manager to show any possible hardware changes (ex: connect or disconnect a device).

Device Manager > Scan for hardware changes?

It is of use if you have a device that has somehow got the wrong driver and fails to work. Uninstall the device in Device Manager then scan for hardware changes. The device will be found anew and (hopefully) get the correct driver loaded this time. That is about the only time I've ever seen it used, but it can be a useful fix on occasion.
