Windows 10: uninstalled minecraft with deleted microsoft account

Hello!

I used to have Minecraft on my laptop, and it was accidentally installed under a Microsoft account that was no longer in use - mostly because it was corrupted and I couldn't find a way to fix it. The Microsoft account was deleted after the 60 days?, and then Minecraft was uninstalled from my computer. Is there a way to recover it for free, or would I have to purchase a new copy?

This all happened this spring, but I still have the same computer.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Deleted account keeps reappearing

Is it still appearing no matter how you try to delete? I suggest you to follow the steps below to remove user account from your computer, and check if it helps. Try the ones you’re comfortable with.

Step 1: Steps to Remove a User Account in Settings

  Press Windows

Step 3: Steps to Delete a User Account in Run command.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
