Uninstalled my graphics card driver and can't reinstall it since I'm using an old version...

Before you say to update my windows, I've tried but i always get error messages whenever i try to update anything. My laptops version is 1903. In device manager, under the other drivers section, i have a new driver called "video controller VGA compatible" I tried to update it but it wouldn't work. Then i tried to search online for a graphics card driver but nothing i installed worked and i might've installed a couple of viruses. Also after i uninstalled my driver My screen is streched out for some reason. I desperately need help, I'm not the only one that uses this laptop

    :)
