Windows 10: Uninstalled or Not? Application Problem

I recently deleted valorant with its client Riot , however it still shows that it is installed in "Apps" , and when I click on it , it says "Windows can't find 'C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\RiotClientServices.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly" Like dude is it still on my pc , and ITS 47.7 GB

Problems installing and uninstalling Applications

Hi, suggest you do a couple more basic checks first:

a. check your disk e.g. Crystal Diskinfo (free)
b. run
chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command or Powershell prompt

If those are ok, then assuming what you mean by

is actually that running the program's own installer- which Revo runs first- fails in both cases

and that you only have the free version of Revo

then you can used 'Forced uninstall' approache using a 3rd party program (which Revo can do, Pro) e.g. using Wise uninstaller, which does offer this in its free version.

Thus you launch Wise Uninstaller, start Custom Uninstall (rt most button) browse to part of the program you wish to uninstall e.g. the main exe file and proceed.




Note that sometimes it's necessary to trace other relics of a partly uninstalled program and repeat this.

Note too that Revo Pro e.g. provides a monitoring feature when installing programs, which can be used to uninstall them based on the log created.


However, this

suggests you may have more basic problems e.g. service not running, or other corruption.

Let me confirm that if the application in installed successfully then you can find the same under Programs and Features in Control Panel. Moreover, it will also give an option to uninstall the application from Programs. You can also crosscheck this application
under All apps in the Start menu.

Also, suggest you to enable the built-in Administrator account and check if you can uninstall the application from that account. To enable built-in Administrator account, follow the steps below:

• Right Click on Start and select “Command Prompt (Admin)”.
• Accept the UAC prompt if required.
• Type “net user administrator /active:yes” (without quotes).

Once you have enabled the account, you will see it listed in the user accounts control panel applet.

Login to the account and check if the game gets installed.

To disable the built-in Administrator account, follow the steps provided above and in step 3 type the command line provided below:

“net user administrator /active:yes” (without quotes).

Revo Uninstaller

free version doesn't list 64bit applications, hence totally helpless to remove them, while native windows uninstaller will do that.

only paid version revo uninstaller pro does and also another paid program called your uninstaller.
