Windows 10: Uninstalled program showing in the "How do you want to open this file" UI.

Heya! So, I uninstalled Citra a while back and now its icon is still showing in the "How do you want to open this file" UI. I don't need to remove it but it just bugs me every now and then. Unfortunately, I can't re-run the uninstaller because Citra is now down. If its unavoidable, I don't want to tinker in the Registry Editor as I am afraid of breaking my computer. Thanks!

Uninstall a program that doesn't show up?

I downloaded and installer a Program(YouTubeToMP4). It went to Programs (x86) and does not show up on the Uninstall list.

Any suggestions?

 

Please give steps to open the paths to Program Files

If you want to open File Explorer to your C: drive without any registry tweaks, you'll need to do so from a shortcut you create.

1. Open File Explorer to This PC.
2. Right-click Winndows (C and select Create Shortcut:
   
   
3. Clock OK in the altert dialog:
   
   
4. And you'll have a shortcut on your Desktop:
   
   

 

can't uninstall program

- Did you try un-installing the program from programs and features?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Repairing or removing programs

To uninstall programs, go to Settings.

• On the Start menu, then select Settings.
• Select System > Apps & features.
• Select the program, then select Uninstall. Some apps that are built in to Windows can’t be uninstalled.
  
• Follow the directions on the screen.

If you are still unable to uninstall the program, follow the steps below.

• In Search, enter Control Panel and select Control Panel.
• Select Programs > Programs and Features, then select the program.
• Select the program, then select Uninstall. Some apps that are built in to Windows can’t be uninstalled.
  
• Follow the directions on the screen.
