Windows 10: Uninstalling Microsoft apps

I have uninstalled 6 Microsoft apps- Cortana, Microsoft News, Microsoft To Do, Xbox, Windows Security, and Windows Terminal. The apps are no longer installed, but except for Cortana I still have them showing up in my Start Menu. Of course, nothing happens when I click on any of them, because they aren't installed any more they do not show up in the Apps list in Settings or in Control Panel.. How can I remove these from my All Apps listing in the Start Menu?I am running Windows 11 pro, latest updates installed.

Q1) If it's a built-in app, then the user can restore the app using that tutorial only if the app was uninstalled for their account and not for all users. Being able to restore an app that was uninstalled for all users using the PowerShell command is currently broken in Windows, and break all built-in apps if used. The only way to restore them then is to do a repair install.

Q2) That's correct. If a built-in app is not listed in under step 3 in OPTION TWO, then it can't and be uninstalled. Those would be apps that are used by Windows, and shouldn't be uninstalled. For example, Microsoft Edge.

Q3) I haven't tied it to know, but I would assume that to be so.

 

Uninstalled apps stuck "installing" in Microsoft Store (MSN News)

A corrupted Microsoft Store cache is one of the possible reasons why some apps are stuck in an "installing phase" when you try to uninstall them. We suggest that you try running the
Windows App troubleshooter to troubleshoot the issue.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you reset the Microsoft Store cache. You can follow the steps below to reset the Microsoft Store cache:

• Press Windows + R keys to open the run
  command box.
• Type WSReset, then try launching Microsoft Store and sign in.

microsoft game apps CAN'T uninstall

• Do you get any error message when you try to uninstall?

Example: Microsoft solitaire collection is the game which comes preinstalled with Windows 10. Follow the below steps to remove/uninstall the Microsoft solitaire collection from the Windows 10.

• Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open settings menu.
• Click on System.
• Click on Apps and features from the system settings menu.
• Locate and click on the Microsoft solitaire collection
  from the list of apps installed under the Apps and features.
• Click on Uninstall. (click on Uninstall if any window prompts)

By following the above steps, you may remove/uninstall any app/game which comes preinstalled with Windows 10.
