Windows 10: Unintended consequences of Norton 360 upon Microsoft products

After installing Norton 360, it seems necessary to sign into Excel or Word daily. Is there a setting like authorizing traffic through a specific port which will avoid the tedious activity of re-signing into or having to verify my Microsoft account daily?

So, just to make sure, you have disabled the Norton and it connects OK, e.g. the firewall is the problem? I would say that the settings for the Norton Personal Firewall would be the same for 360 since same manufacturer. You should be able to input the same
info in 360 somewhere. Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the software so can't give step by step instructions. I guess you could wait for someone to respond that has experience with 360 or go to a Norton forum.

Is Microsoft Edge STILL not compatible with Norton 360? I had Edge - for maybe 3 weeks - and now not available again. Neither is Cortana. If Microsoft can't play nice with Norton - please suggest exactly WHICH internet security program I should be paying
for. And if the answer is some Microsoft internet security program - I guess I'll switch to Apple.
