    Unistall Windows 10 without password and advanced options disabled


    I purchased a HP EliteBook Revolve 810 at a yard sale for $50, for my 9 year to play games, watch videos, etc. The computer boots up; however, do not know the password and I cannot log on to the laptop. I restart the computer and try to get into the advanced options but get a message that advance options have been disabled. I am unable to reset the password or change access to the laptop. I purchased a new version of Windows 10 to install on the laptop. please see my question below, I just do not want to pay over $200 to a "computer repair" store on something I could possibly do myself.


    What I need to know - what are the steps to wipe clean the laptop of the "old windows and password" and install on the laptop a "new windows and password"?


    Any assistance would greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.
