Windows 10: Universal Apps - Live tiles not working

I recently noticed that all live tiles for universal apps downloaded from the store are not working. Live tiles for modern apps and built-in universal apps (weather, store, maps ...etc) seems to be working fine, but the new facebook, twitter or any UWP apps have static tiles. I have tried repinning, reinstalling but nothing works.

This is happening on my desktop and my laptop as well.

I appreciate if someone can help me out with this issue.

How it is handled the live tile on the new email universal app

It is not clear to me the usage of the email universal app. I would like to have one live tile for each of my email accounts in the start page in order to have shown in each tile the number of new emails arrived since the last time I had a look into that
email account. That was the nice way of working in the WP8 email app. Now I see a number in the tile, I enter in the email account and then I exit without opening all the new emails, then I close the app and Ibstill see the same number in the tail!!! Do someone
tell me why and what is the strange logic of the new email universal app??

 

Disable live tiles

There is no universal answer for this question as there is no "switch live tile off" feature on windows phone. Each app may or may not have that capability (buried under its own settings) and a hack to do it for other apps is disabling the background processing.
so... the answer is correct. it tells you all you can do to disable live tiles. first rule of trolling on forums... don't understand the freaking answers.
