Windows 10: university software concerns

Hello, i just installed microsoft office which is granted to us by the university on my personal computer. It comes with newer versions of apps that i already have natively on my windows which are from 2007My concern is does my university now have access to all of my personal word documents?

I am looking for a Recommendation for Automated Risk Assessment Software for a University. Does anyone have an input? I am looking at SureCloud, Suplari and Intelix. I am not sure these are what I am looking for but am open for suggestion, Thank you.
