Windows 10: Unknown application

Hi everyone,


When I run my Task Manager, I often see this Process called "YellowMind", and when expanded it displays a gear icon named "OakomsRabbitechnologiesSNP".


When I locate the program file location, it takes me to a path C: > ProgramData > OakomsRabbitechnologiesSNP


In the folder there is the OakomsRabbitechnologiesSNP.exe file, two DAT files named tm.dat and tt.dat, and an uninstall.exe.


OakomsRabbitechnologiesSNP.exe doesn't seem to load anything, and uninstalling opens an uninstaller which will uninstalls a "Helper 2.0.7.5" and when done, doesn't do anything and the files remain.


I cannot move it to the recycle bin because I get a message saying the file is open somewhere else.


Is this something serious? Can I remove it? How do I remove it?

Hi Peter,

An unknown application could show if there is a software conflict. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to ask these questions:

• Have you recently installed a program or application?
• Have you made any recent changes to your PC prior to this issue?
• What is the build number and version of your Windows?
• Are you able to open the application?

In the meantime, we suggest that you delete this application from Programs folder by following these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Right-click on the unknown application.
• Select More, and then click on Open
  file location.
• File Explorer will show. Right-click on the unknown application from the list of apps.
• Select Delete.
• If prompt, enter the administrator password.

We will wait for your response.

 

X800 GTO2 = Unknown Device

I flashed the BIOS on my X800 GTO2 last night and it is listed in the Device Manager as an Unknown Device. Is this normal?

 

"Unknown" application in list

Hello All,

I have experienced a weird issue just lately. Last night, I fully charged my phone (6233) and turned the unit off before going to bed.

When I wake-up in the morning, I turn on my 6233 as usual, and it boots-up ok. A few hours later, I notice that some application shortcuts in my "Go To" menu are now named "Unknown" and beside the name is the generic icon for a java app. Selecting these items
from the "Go To" menu does nothing, so I assume that these are dead shortcuts. I turn off and turn on my phone again, but these icons are still there. I find out further that these dead shortcuts are appearing in my "Applications list" of the "Go To" menu,
but I cannot remove them.

I can still run all of my Java applications on the phone. My problem is now how to remove those dead shortcuts named "Unknown" from my applications list.

Any help on their removal would be appreciated.
