Windows 10: unknown bitlocker id after failed update

Hello everyone. i just restarted my laptop after an update. During the restart i got the message about resetting psp nvram and ftpm vram. i said no and am required to enter my bitlocker key would have to regardless if i said yes or no. i have used bitlocker keys before. i could do this without any issue but now its asking for a key with an id that doesnt exist. i have tried using the keys i do have but since the id doesnt match they dont work. what are my options? would using a backup from a few months allow me to use one of my existing keys? or are there any better options? if possible i

Thank you for your help so far.

I tried your suggestion (manage-bde -protectors -get c but did not obtain the BitLocker Key ID. I did, however get the BitLocker Recovery Key which is handy.

I still wish to be able to publicly post the the Key ID for management purposes. Do you have an idea how I can read it from an unknown PC?

I have locked my HDD with help of Bitlocker but missed to save recovery ID.

Please suggest me how to recover/generate bitlocker id to open encrypted HDD. it requires 48 digits bitlocker id to recover HDD.

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
