Windows 10: Unknown emails showing up in Edge "Personal Info" autofill suggestions

When I type in address fields, emails that aren't mine show up in Edge's autofill suggestions. Doing a quick search of the ones I can tell are names turn out as people in my university.I remember logging into the edge browser of a school computer in 2023, and accidentally linking my Microsoft account to the PC. Microsoft makes undoing this so complicated and I don't remember what I did, only that I thought I fixed it.Now, I'm worried that my account is compromised.I am considering deleting my account. Edge Autofill woes

Windows Version 21H2 Edge Version 98.0.1108.56 Greetings folks, Over the years I've always manually typed in my email address in sign in forms and of late it's become a bit cumbersome. I've always avoided using the Edge auto fill in method as I was under the false impression that to use this method I would also have to enter my password for autofill, which I don't want to do, I prefer keeping passwords in my head. After learning that I can have Edge just autofill my email address without the password, I've been using it to great effect. The problem is, Edge seems to be automatically remembering 2FA text and app generated authentication codes and suggesting them in a drop down list whenever they have to be input. While I'm aware these codes are time-sensitive and pose no security risk it looks a bit messy having a whole list of them pop up whenever a 2FA field presents itself. I'm aware there is a delete entry button next to each entry but clearing them all each time would be more annoying than having to manually enter my email address. Is there anyway to turn these automatically saved autofill entries off? All I want is my email address saved. I've included a screenshot to show what I am on about.

To remove all autofill email addresses permanently from Windows 11 Mail, you can follow these steps:

Open the Mail app on your Windows 11 device.

Click on the Settings icon (it looks like a gear) at the bottom of the left-hand pane.

In the Settings pane that opens, click on "Manage Accounts".

Select the account for which you want to delete the autofill email addresses.

Click on "Change mailbox sync settings".

Scroll down to the "Contact" section and turn off the "Sync contacts" option.

Click on "Done" and then "Save".

Repeat these steps for each account you have added to the Mail app.

Please note that this will stop the Mail app from syncing your contacts, which means that it will no longer autofill email addresses. However, it will also mean that you will need to manually enter email addresses when you want to send an email.

If you want to remove specific email addresses from the autofill list, unfortunately, the Mail app in Windows 11 does not currently support this feature. The autofill list is populated based on the contacts you have synced with your account and the people you have recently emailed. The only way to remove specific email addresses from the autofill list is to stop emailing those addresses and eventually, they will drop off the list.
