    Unknown files in C Drive


    Hi,I am so many folders in C drive with weird names. My complete 464GB was full. And those folders are also not deleting from my laptop. Below I am attaching the screenshot of how the folders were there on my laptop. Can anyone help me with this. Its urgent.

    Then I would try making a backup and then immediately restore from the backup, using the bootable Macrium media to do the restoration.

    If the C: drive was the larger of the two, then it looks like Macrium will erase that "unknown" file. Ofc, it may come back, over time, depending on where it came from to begin with.



    /e I'd test it for you, but I don't have a mysterious "unknown" file. *cry

    I see a file with an unknown name occupying about 21 percent of the drive.

    Not much help without a name.

    It appears to be in the root of C.

    Looks like a file, not a directory?

    Try another app like Tree Size Free.
