    Unknown Folders and Files Appear in my OneDrive. Possible Hack or Virus


    Hi there.There is strange folder appear on my Folder E: yesterday The folder name is "dce7337580918db4d51ca95ef9" and size of approximately 726 MBSo my question is 1. Is it a important folder and is it possible a hacking or virus?2. Can I deleting this folder?If someone can help me in getting out of this problem. Thanks in Advance.Regards,Roongroj W.

    Folder appears unknown

    2 New folders have appeared unknown source, and will not delete.

    Admin (PC) and bev (joe-pc).

    They also appear under software in device manager. What gives? I have Bitdefender AV. I cannot ID which folder they are under. Listed under "This PC"

    Then after that, enable options > hide virustotal.com clean entries ... only suspicious stuff will remain.
    Check the complete list on the Everything tab, it may not be explorer extension listed on that tab.

    It may be something stupidly simple like onedrive/skydrive being setup to sync folders that are being dumped remotely.

    Music Folder Behaving Badly in OneDrive

    There is a possibility that the Music folder is synced to your OneDrive that is why any files deleted from either of the folders is synced to the other. For us to better assist you with the said folder, we'd like to ask for additional information:

    • Can you please provide a screenshot of the Music folder from the OneDrive folder and home folder?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps that you were advised to do?
