Windows 10: Unknown Folders

Hello ! its me a Microsoft user.I have a issue in my system.Suddenly two unknown folders appear on my display .When I tried to delete them they disappear for some moment and when I refresh my display again They appear again.When I right click on them only three options were appear1.Cut2.Create Shortcut3.DeleteThey are not even moving. When I cut the folder and paste it in another place it shows an error.Now what should I do ?

Folder appears unknown

2 New folders have appeared unknown source, and will not delete.

Admin (PC) and bev (joe-pc).

They also appear under software in device manager. What gives? I have Bitdefender AV. I cannot ID which folder they are under. Listed under "This PC"

 

Trying to get more space on HDD...found UNKNOWN area?

Ok here is what it says....the <Unknown> area is on the C: root....no sub folder and it is 3.7 gig. I also have a pagefile.sys at 2.5 gig and a hiberfil.sys at 1 gig.

Any suggestions?????

 

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.
