Windows 10: Unknown icon on my files icons

Discus and support Unknown icon on my files icons in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Unknown icon appear on some of my files. All the files affected will not open... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Gaming' started by AyRx, May 12, 2022.

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

    Techpowerup bookmark icon in firefox?

    changed the favicon for the forum
    uploaded a new smaller (bytes) icon for the main site
    added html code to suggest the icon to browsers

    but i still cant get it to show up in firefox favourites

    Unknown icon on my files icons

    Two bugs in GPU-Z - icon and version number

    I ran into the very same issue with the latest GPU-Z version at Win 10 x64 - I rename the desktop shortcut and after some time I see blank icon for it, and reinstall-rename solution also won't survive restart. The solution I came up with was to extract the icon from GPU-Z and use it instead. This is yet to disappear after multiple restarts.
