Windows 10: Unknown recent searches in windows 11 search bar

I’ve noticed a lot of random recent searches in the windows search bar which I definitely didn’t search such as an adult website “how to find a boyfriend online” and specific episodes of a show I’ve never heard of, all things I’ve never searched.Is this a glitch or does someone have access to to my computer? I’m not and have never been signed into a Microsoft account on the computer so it’s nothing related to that.I’ve tried running Microsoft defender scans but nothing shows up.Any idea how to get rid of this virus or person or if it’s just a glitch?

Search Bar on Windows 11 Issues

I am having issues with my Windows 11 Search function. I notice when I open my search bar I start to type it freeze then drops.

Suggestions would be appreciated. Everything is up to date.

From the description, I understand that you are still receiving the pop up notifications, despite having disabled the search functionality in windows 10.

Steps to disable the Search Bar

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• Select "Disable."

However, if the above steps don't work out, perform the below suggested steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Open a CMD window started as Administrator.

Repair corruption: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.

Run this command next: Sfc /scannow

Now run these two commands:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Search bar stuck while trying to type in the search bar

We would like to know more information regarding your concern so that we will know why the search bar is not working. Have you recently made any changes/updates prior to this issue?

Did you run the troubleshooter to rebuild the indexing? If not, I would suggest that you run the troubleshooter to fix common indexing issue. You can run the troubleshooter by performing these steps:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type
  Troubleshoot.
• Choose Troubleshoot in the results.
• Under Find and fix other problems highlight
  Search and Indexing then click Run the troubleshooter.
