Windows 10: Unknown Security email added to my Microsoft account

Hi, I received an email yesterday that was from Microsoft telling me an email that I've never seen before was added to my security information. The email from Microsoft said that if it wasn't me that added the unknown email then a malicious user has access to my account. I did not add the email. I changed my password but am still receiving a ton of junk email. I have been trying to find the email in my security information so I can remove it but I can't seem to find it anywhere in all the security settings. I could turn on two step verification but the code will be sent to the unknown email al

It does work fine with pop.





It has a problem with 2 step authentication. What is the domain?
Is your username the same as email address?

 

Disable adding email/Microsoft accounts to Windows 10

Is there a way to prevent people from adding any email/Microsoft accounts to Windows 10?
I found the option in GPEdit
Local -> Computer Config -> Windows Settings -> Security Options -> Accounts: Block Microsoft accounts

I set it to Users can't add Microsoft accounts, ran gpupdate /force and restarted the system.
Still am able to add email accounts, and a Microsoft one, if indirectly for the later.

 

Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
