  1. Unknown security key

I recently installed a fresh version of windows from usb but I found out there is a security key that is linked to this device, I don't know how it got there and I have tried both my usbs and neither of them are accepted, I don't need the security key and I did not set it up, why is it on my device?

    :)

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.

  3. Skype, Groove, Mail, e.t.c. Security, Account Unknown

    Hi,

Thank you for bringing up your query on Microsoft Community.

We sincerely regret for the inconvenience caused.

Please be assured that we will do our best to help you.

    • Do you have any issue while accessing those apps?

    • If yes, what are the challenges you're facing with them?
The Account Unknown with SID (security identifier) indicates the User Profile which is no longer exists. You can see this, when account may not be removed correctly. Since you have only one User Account on your PC, I suggest
you to go for a complete system scan with Windows Defender to see if any malware causing this issue.

Going forward, I suggest you to keep your PC up to date with Windows Updates to make your PC run smooth:

    • Press Windows logo + R keys, enter
      ms-settings:
and then press OK. This opens Settings.
    • In Settings, go to Update & security > Windows Update, and then select
Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.

    Hope it helps.

Let us know the status, we are glad to assist you further.

    Unknown security key

    Security Key

    Some tentative suggestions -
1 Perhaps you mean the 'Security key' for a WiFi network?
2 Perhaps you mean the 'Security key' for your router's Admin functions that is controlling your WiFi network?
3 Perhaps you mean your Windows user account login 'password' or a 'PIN' that you have set it up to accept instead?
