Windows 10: 'unknown sender'

Discus and support 'unknown sender' in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I get 'Unknown Sender' when sending emails to a new contact from Windows Mail on my laptop running Windows 10.     I get 'Unknown Sender' when sending emails to a new contact from Windows Mail on my laptop running Windows 10. They don't get sent but sit in a folder somewhere.

    IMAP email displaying (Unknown Sender) for From and (no subject) for subject

    Has anyone sorted this problem with netaddress emails? I use a usa.net account and all my emails are listed as

    (unknown sender)

    this is a deal breaker for me, I will have to leave usa.net which I have had for 20 odd years! Or is this a microsoft problem?

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).
