Windows 10: Unknown USB Device error constantly

My USB flash drive started giving me errors today on both my computers and I was able to fix all but one of them. "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43. The USB set address request failed." I tried updating my BIOS, uninstalling all Universal Serial Bus controllers, using disk manager, uninstalling the disk drive, and a few other things. After restarting my computer or re inserting the drive, the disk shows up in my file explorer, but when i click on it a window pops up saying "D:\ is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or dri

Thanks for the response but there was not a problem. It was because of me being stupid. I had too much clutter around my PC and I had connected my external drive and thought It was my external storage device. I found out that my some USB connections did
not work on my old laptop. That is why I received the "Unknown device message." Sorry and thank you for the quick response.
