    Hi,
    I having errors in Event Viewer related to DCOM regarding permissions.
    I have been trying to find those APPID in Regestry and changing Ownership, and giving "Full Rights" to Administrator.
    On that Permissions Screen there is a Unknown User {1-xxxxx}.
    I think this "Unknown User" is the old User from Win 8.1

    Question: How to Clear /Delete/Rename or what to do regarding this User system wide.

    Well, you shouldn't HAVE any unauthorized users on a system you control physical access to, but...

    Windows Logo Key + R to bring up the RUN dialog box.

    Type in:

    cmd /k net users

    What is shown in the command prompt that opens?

    If you like, you can safely select and "Remove" the "Account Unknown" user from the security propertied per item you come across it at.

    "Account Unknown" is a general term for an account that is not currently available either since it was deleted or a user on another homegroup/network PC not currently connected.
