Windows 10: unlink device from Microsoft 365 account

I have my daughter's old laptop. It is still linked to her Microsoft 365 student account. I want to 1 unlink this device from her account and 2 add this device to my own Microsoft 365 family subscriptionUnder my daughter's Microsoft Account, there is no option to Unlink or Remove this device. There is only an option to Disable Lost Device which only applies if it's stolen or missing.Under my Microsoft Account, I am unable to Register This Device. When I enter the service tag serial number, it says "We didn't recognize this serial number."If I reset the laptop will it remove Microsoft 365

Unlinking 365 account

You can go into your Microsoft account office.com and under my account go to my installs section and deactivate the device(s) there by clicking on the deactivate link. This should unlink any office products associated with Office365 specifically to you
on that device.

 

Unlink an old android phone from my pc

I go thru the suggested steps: Start - Settings - Phone - Unlink this PC.

When I first open the "your phone" screen the old phone is listed. Not sure if the phone listed is suppose to be selectable or not, but my is not. When I select "Unlink this PC" the phone listed is removed. When I select "Add Phone" the old phone still
shows. I have removed the old phone from my Microsoft Account. I have rebooted after unlink this pc but I still cannot remove my old phone.
