Windows 10: Unlink Gallery from my laptop

I need to create some space on my laptop. I unlinked One Drive, but cannot unlink the photos Gallery, which I now realise is what is taking up the space. How can I unlink photos gallery from my laptop? Please note that while I was still linked to OneDrive, I tried unlinking the photos, but I could not. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the message, but the system did not allow me to unlink the photos while still signed in with OneDrive. You may also need to know that I have a personal subscription to Microsoft 365. If anyone can advise on the removal of the gallery link from laptop, I will be

Unlink an old android phone from my pc

I go thru the suggested steps: Start - Settings - Phone - Unlink this PC.

When I first open the "your phone" screen the old phone is listed. Not sure if the phone listed is suppose to be selectable or not, but my is not. When I select "Unlink this PC" the phone listed is removed. When I select "Add Phone" the old phone still
shows. I have removed the old phone from my Microsoft Account. I have rebooted after unlink this pc but I still cannot remove my old phone.

Unlink android and laptop

Major Microsoft update to my laptop. Uploaded the link to my android. Completely scrambled everything I had set on the android - and not for the better. I can't find a thing and I can't open apps - need to unlink and uninstall. Suggestions welcome.
