Windows 10: Unlinking OneDrive from PC - yet without Notification icon

Hi, I have a few questions regarding how to unlink OneDrive from the work PC. Recently, I noticed that the info used and saved in the OneDrive on my personal laptop has somehow showed up on my work PC unknowingly. Apparently, it is not desirable due to personal privacy and confidentiality given the work PC is for more than personal use only. I've tried troubleshooting by unlinking the OneDrive account from the work PC. I've followed the common troubleshooting steps posted on the community forum hoping to resolve the issue. However, there was no Notification icon found on the work PC. I also

I understand your concern and suggest you to Unlink OneDrive and run OneDrive setup
again and check. Here is the steps:

• 
  Right-click the white OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar.
  
  
  
  (You might need to click the Show hidden icons arrow next to the notification area to see the
  OneDrive icon.)
  
• 
  Click Settings, and then click Unlink.
  
• 
  Follow the steps in the Welcome to OneDrive wizard to set up OneDrive.

Move the OneDrive Folder

When you set up OneDrive to sync with your computer, a folder C:\Users\XXXX\OneDrive will be created to store the contents. XXXX denotes your username. To move this folder to another location follow these simple steps:

1. Unlink OneDrive from your PC:

• Go to the taskbar notification area
• Right-click on the OneDrive icon
• Select settings
• Click: Unlink this PC

2. Delete the C:\Users\XXXX\OneDrive folder

3. Create a new folder (target folder) for OneDrive contents, e.g. D:\OneDrive

4. Create Directory Junction for the new folder

• In the search area of the taskbar type CMD and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter
• In the command window type

mklink /J C:\Users\XXXX\OneDrive D:\OneDrive

adjusting it to your specific username and selection of the target folder

5. Link again OneDrive to your PC using the OneDrive icon in the taskbar notification area

The steps to unlink are as follows:

Select the white or blue OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar or menu bar.

Note: You might need to click the Show hidden icons arrow The Show hidden icons button. next to the notification area to see the OneDrive icon. If the icon doesn't appear in the notification area, OneDrive might not be running. Select Start, type OneDrive in the search box, and then select OneDrive in the search results.

Select Help & Settings > Settings.

On the Account tab, click Unlink this PC and then Unlink account.
