Windows 10: Unmountable Boot Volume and NTLDR Missing error messages when rebooting

I have an older laptop that originally had Windows 7 x32 on it, it's a Toshiba satellite l505. The Windows 7 that's on it is not a genuine copy the product key is too worn out to read, no backups on it. I cannot get the laptop to even boot up in any of the safe modes. It keeps telling me either Unmountable Boot Volume error or NTLDR Missing. I do not have a physical disc for any OS. I have an 8GB USB drive actually I have another one but it's having issues as well and says that it's write protected and I have tried multiple ways to get that off but it's still on there that I can make boota

Unmountable Boot Volume

Unmountable boot volume usually means a bad hard drive. Booting the XP CD and running chkdsk will sometime bring the computer back to life for a while, but eventually the drive will die.
