  1. UNNECESSARY APP DELETED AND NOW STARTUP ERROR AFTER LOGGING IN

WARMEST REGARDS TO THE READER.I am having an annoying issue, there was an unnecessary app on my pc and it used to startup at startup and start automatically when the PC booted. After it, that came into the system tray and its icon stayed there, and after right-clicking it several times, the Exit option popped up and after clicking it, the app finally closed. I didn't use it anymore, so I went to the file location and deleted the application and now I think the startup cannot find that app and it shows this exactly the moment after I log in. I get this annoying notification every time. Please hel

    :)

    Hi Dalemisto61

    1.

    Open File Explorer

    Click on your hard drive

On the Manage Tab, click Cleanup

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete

    Start Disk Cleanup again

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

This time in the resulting dialog, click 'Cleanup System Files'

Let Disk Cleanup run another scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete

    2.

Turn off all unnecessary startup applications and processes:

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager

    Click on the Startup Tab

See any non-essential items are listed there

If so, select and click 'Disable'

    Close Task Manager

Click your Start Button, type msconfig and hit Enter

When the System Configuration dialog opens, click on the Services Tab

Check the box marked 'Hide Microsoft Services'

In the remaining list, see any non-essential items are listed there, uncheck any you find

    Click Apply and OK

Turn off all unnecessary Background Apps

    Open the Settings App

Go to Privacy - Background Apps

Turn off any App you do not need running in the background

    Restart your PC

  3. delete unnecessary files and apps

    Hi Dalemisto61,

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

    A. To delete unnecessary programs

Windows Key+i > Apps > You will need to browse through the program list here and uninstall not needed ones

    B, To delete unnecessary files

    1. Use Storage Sense to delete unnecessary files

Type Storage in Cortana Search Box > Click Storage > Click Change how we free up space > Down below there is button Clean now under Free up space now which you should press

    2. Use Disk Cleanup

Type Disk Cleanup in Cortana Search box > Click Disk Cleanup > Check relevant options (you can also clean system files)

    3. Analyze disk space

You should analyze your existing space with help of third party softwares and remove un-necessary files. TreeSize is most popular one and is a Microsoft Store app.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/treesize-free...

    4. Check for log files in CBS directory

Go to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS > Check the size of CBS.Log and if size is huge >

Type services in Windows Start Search box > Click Services > Scroll down to find the Windows Modules Installer service and double-click on it > Set its startup type to Manual > Reboot your computer

Go to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS > Delete all of the files in the CBS folder (or rename and move to a backup drive) > Reboot your computer > Then go back into the Services App and set Windows Modules Installer Service back to Automatic Startup (Note CBS log files
    contain information about windows update.

    5. Microsoft has also some suggestions to improve disk space.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12425/...

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.
