Windows 10: Unreadable decapitated text in excel dialogue textboxes when Windows font size is 125%

With poor vision I need larger size text display. 125%However dialogue textboxes do not resize, although the text within is larger and becomes unreadable, being of excess heightThis happens in particular in Pivot-table and Chart dialogues where a connection name or sheet or range name may be displayed. The texbox or combobox contents are just unreadable. Is there any solution? Does Microsoft have any proposal to allow resizable text/combo-boxes?Do I have to go back to 100% and use a magnifying glass?

Text size of tabs menus and message boxes now unreadable after update?

Since the latest update the text size on my tabs, menus and message boxes are ridiculously small and almost unreadable.

I can only find how to change everything by increasing font size to 125% but I do not want to change the text size of web pages that's fine as it is.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Cannot change Windows 10 font size with text size increase


Hi, I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I'm having some great difficulty in upsizing the default font size. I've tried changing the font size, but I'm only afforded the option to increase it to 24 (which the current font size is not). Apart from changing a file in regedit to change the default font which I learned from this link; http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/ch...ont-windows-10 , I don't know what might be the culprit behind this problem. I have tried upsizing to 125%-150% but some applications look blurry as a result. I would prefer to increase the font size and nothing else. Any suggestions?

 

Internet Explorer 11 Menu font size

Hi Larry,

Follow these steps to change the font size in IE11:

• Click Start menu or press Windows key on your keyboard.
• Type and click Control Panel.
• Click Appearance and Personalization and under Display, click
  Make text other items larger or smaller.
• Under Change only the text size, choose the Title bars
  in the drop-down menu and the desired font size on the drop-down menu beside it.
