    Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

Thank you for your response. If you've created a new profile and you have admin privileges, try these steps on how to transfer files from one user to another and see if it will work for you:

    • Open File Explorer and go to C:\Users.
    • Look for the account you want to copy the files from.
    • Select the folders/files you want to copy, right-click on it and select Copy.
    • Go to the new user account folder and paste the folders/files you copied.
    • Repeat the steps if needed.

Give us an update on how it goes.

Unrecognized User Account In file explorer

    Unrecognized user account

I just reset windows 10 (ouch) and recovered most everything from on-line backup. I am a bit confused as I have an unrecognized user account, which could be my email truncated (dmale) In C:\User. When I try to manage it in the User control Panel
dialog I don't see it, just the User I restored (Don) There are some new folders in
dmale, but they also seem to be in my Don User Account. Ideas?
