Windows 10: Unresponsive trackpad and keyboard during windows 10 setup

When installing windows 10 theoubt a bootable usb drive durinf windows setup to selext language, time/currency, and keybaord my trackpad and keyboard are unresponsive. My laptop is an asus x205ta.

Upgraded to Windows 10 and now trackpad completely unresponsive.

I upgraded to Windows 10 last night. As soon as the install was complete I attempted to navigate around the screen with my trackpad and it is completely unresponsive. No clicks or touches are registered. I've restarted my computer in hopes that that would
clear the issue but the trackpad is still completely unresponsive.

The single setting I've found for the trackpad in the new layout regards its sensitivity and whether or not there should be a delay. I changed that to no delay to test and still the trackpad is completely dead.

Any other settings or changes that you know of that will fix this? I use my trackpad almost exclusively and the upgrade has severely limited the functionality of my computer at the moment.

10...

I HAVE updated the drivers for the trackpad. It did not fix the problem.
