Windows 10: Unresponsive windows

Recently i am facing some issues with my pc as it becomes unresponsive.

Hanging starts with one app, which gets unresponsive and now i cannot do anything, but i can move my mouse and no clicks are registered after that. I was playing a song and doing my work, in between my pc hanged but the song was still playing until it finished and next song in the loop was not played.

I think there is some problem with my RAM. For past 45 days, i was having no internet so i was not able to update anything in that period my pc was running smoothly. Then i got issues with RAM and i have to remove one of the sticks.

I am not able to update my Windows also it stops at Installing stage. The problem can be triggered easily by installing/Updating any software (i tried IntelliJ, VS Code, etc). This problem always not arises during installing, as i updated some software easily). And i haven't installed any new software.

What would be the problem is there some problem with my Windows 10 or some hardware issue.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
